Explorer Scouting in Haslemere has grown, with more young people enjoying the fun, challenge and adventure.
We would like to continue and develop what we do and are looking for adults who can help us and enjoy some of the fun themselves. Volunteering with the Explorer Scouts is fun, easy and flexible. It is a great way to make a difference while having some fun.
We are always looking for leaders and assistant leaders – everybody knows that – but we would really welcome the support of men and women who could give a little time each term to act as Unit Treasurer, Occasional Helpers on Camps and Expeditions, Skills Instructors or fundraisers. It need not be every week, and we would welcome help at weekends as well as at the weekly meeting.
